WINTERSWEET by YUMMY is a cold snap of new work from award-winning cabaret ensemble YUMMY Productions.

The show invites you into a frozen paradise of drag, burlesque, and live music to find the warmth in winter.

WINTERSWEET by YUMMY features an all-star cast: Valerie Hex, Hannie Helsden, Jandruze, Benjamin Hancock, Zelia Rose and special guest singer/ songwriter Joni in the Moon. 

YUMMY recently won "Best Production" and "Best Ensemble" (cabaret) at the 2018 Green Room Awards.

International Entertainment’s CIRCUS QUIRKUS is a contemporary take on your favourite, traditional circuses of ages past. 

It is an eclectic and entertaining mix of Circus acts brought to you from all over the world. Internationally renowned Clowns, Jugglers, Acrobats, and more deliver funny, hugely engaging and sometimes death-defying acts of unbelievable skill.

The show is suitable for audiences of all ages, big and small. All our venues will accommodate wheelchairs. Circus Quirkus does not use animals in its performances.

Roll up, roll up! The Brunswick Picture House is giddy with excitement to be taking its signature show, Cheeky Cabaret, on the road to the big smoke of Lismore for the inaugural ArtState Festival.

After laying dormant for over 30 years, the curtains lifted on the old theatre in Brunswick Heads with a new lease on life, lovingly restored by the creative team behind the award-winning, internationally-acclaimed circus/cabaret sensations La Soirée and Club Swizzle. Since opening in March 2016 with an eclectic mix of live shows, film events, documentaries, music and all-ages gigs, word has spread far and wide about the rejuvenation of the Brunswick Picture House and its programming, including its monthly extravaganza, Cheeky Cabaret.

Bold and brash, sexy and dangerous, with tongue placed firmly in cheek, this is one party you will not want to miss! Smashing together circus, vaudeville, comedy and everything in between, Cheeky Cabaret has rightfully become the talk of the town. After twenty years of causing trouble around the world and working with the best, it’s now time for the crème de la crème of these troubadours, miscreants and cabaret queens to storm the cultural capital of the Northern Rivers.

The ensemble is travelling across Australia in early 2018, which is very expensive, and we need all the help we can to support our national tour! All money raised on the night goes directly toward production and touring costs for YUMMY, and will be greatly appreciated. YUMMY Productions is a new force in Australian performing arts that constantly delivers outrageously fun and subversive live performance. Known for the cult smash show, "YUMMY," the company has also created several spin off productions (Summer Treats, Love Pain and Music, YUMMY in the Wild West) to suit contexts both intimate and large in scale. YUMMY is born from Melbourne's Midsumma festival, and has headlined large events in Sydney Mardi Gras, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Due West Festival, Melbourne Music Week, Melbourne Fringe, and more. The performers in YUMMY have been seen touring the word separately in major shows, but when they come together in YUMMY, something truly unforgettable happens.

A moving story, featuring dazzling cabaret performances from some of Melbourne's finest

From the time she was old enough to lipsync Beni Lola (Natasha Jynel) knew that she wanted to be a Drag Queen. There was just one problem. Girls can't be Drag Queens, right?

Auto Bio Queen explores the life story of Beni Lola through dazzling cabaret performances starring Karen From Finance, Bumpa Love, Fipe Preuss, Hannie Helsden, Rolly and of course, Beni Lola. This journey of self-discovery will touch anyone who has ever searched for somewhere to belong. Nothing is off limits in this story of exploration and acceptance, reminding us of what ties us all together and how the story of one can connect us all. Inspired by Todd Solondz's Palindromes and Jonathan Caouette's Tarnation, Auto Bio Queen blurs the lines between autobiography and art, and brings to life the age old question from Mama Ru "if you can't love yourself how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?"

Natasha Jynel's work as a creative director, writer and performer (under Beni Lola) can be seen in publications such as Archer Mag and SBS, music videos for Le1f and on stage in productions such as Threadbare which debuted at Melbourne Fringe Festival 2016.
